Conrad Consulting are working with a leading national practice seeking a talented RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant with a genuine interest in Healthcare design. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands on project experience, build technical confidence, and progress toward Part 3 within a supportive and growing team.
This practice have recently expanded their national output with several large-scale new projects based across the North of England. This is supported by ongoing projects UK-wide delivered by a highly professional team in the South of England with a wealth of experience behind them.
The Manchester studio is small, but growing. They have fantastic new premises in the centre of Manchester. This would be an excellent time to join the team as they continue to expand their northern operation.
You ll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful Healthcare projects across Manchester and the wider North West, playing a key role in shaping environments that directly impact community wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting senior architects on Healthcare sector schemes including hospitals, primary care facilities, and specialist clinical environments.
- Preparing design and technical information across early and later RIBA stages.
- Attending site visits and contributing to project coordination.
- Liaising with clients and consultants with growing confidence.
- Assisting in ensuring projects are delivered to high standards of quality, compliance, and design integrity.
Skills & Experience Required
- RIBA Part 2 qualification (RIBA).
- Ideally 1 year of practice experience, though strong graduates will also be considered This must be UK-based experience.
- Good technical awareness.
- Proficiency in Revit is essential.
- Any exposure to Healthcare sector projects is advantageous but not essential. We will consider other sector knowledge experience (Education, Commercial, Industrial, etc).
- A motivated, proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
